Drip AI – Privacy Policy

Drip AI processes photos you choose to upload in order to generate AI-styled images. Uploaded photos, selected generation options, and limited technical request data necessary to process and return the result may be transmitted securely to third-party infrastructure and AI providers for processing. These inputs are used only to provide the image generation requested by you, are not used by us to train AI models, and are deleted after processing rather than being permanently stored on our own servers. If you purchase a subscription or credits, purchase verification and entitlement status may be processed via Apple’s in-app purchase system and a third-party provider (RevenueCat). We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that are required to protect personal data with the same or an equivalent level of protection described in this Privacy Policy and required by applicable law.

This Privacy Policy describes how Drip AI (“App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use the Drip AI mobile application. By using Drip AI, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Information We Collect

Drip AI may process the following categories of information:

Uploaded photos: Photos you select from your photo library or capture with your camera for AI image generation.
Generation inputs: Selected styles, prompts, or other generation options you choose to provide in connection with an image generation request.
Generated images: Images created by the App from your uploaded photos and generation inputs.
Technical request data: Limited technical data necessary to transmit, process, secure, and return a generation request, such as app-scoped identifiers or similar request metadata.
Purchase and subscription data: App store transaction or receipt information, subscription status, entitlement status, and app-scoped identifiers required to verify purchases and unlock paid features.
App preferences: Limited local settings such as onboarding state and similar app preferences stored on your device.
Support communications: If you contact us directly, we may receive your email address and any information you include in your message.

We collect this information directly from you when you upload a photo, use your camera, choose generation options, request image generation, make a purchase through the App Store, use the App, or contact us.

No account registration is required, and we do not ask you to create a profile with your name, username, or password in order to use the App.

2. How We Use Information

We use information processed through the App only to:

Generate AI-styled images from photos and generation inputs you provide.
Transmit, process, secure, and return generation requests through our backend infrastructure and AI providers.
Display, save, and share generated images at your request.
Provide subscription verification, credit balances, restore purchases, and paid feature access.
Remember limited app preferences stored locally on your device.
Maintain security, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms of Use.
Respond to messages you send to us directly.

3. Data Storage and Retention

Uploaded photos, generation inputs, and related technical request data are processed temporarily for image generation and are deleted after processing rather than being permanently stored on our servers.
We do not maintain a permanent server-side library of your uploaded photos for ordinary use of the App.
Generated images are stored only on your device if you choose to save them.
Locally stored preferences and credit-related app state may remain on your device until you delete the App or clear its storage.
Purchase and subscription records may be retained by the app store provider and subscription service providers according to their own policies and legal obligations.
If you contact us directly, we may retain correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to and resolve your request or as required by law.

4. Data Sharing and Transfers

We do not sell your personal information.

We share limited information with third-party providers only as necessary to operate the App, generate AI images, verify subscriptions, process purchases, support restoring purchases, and provide external shopping links requested by you.

In particular, when you request image generation, uploaded photos, selected generation options, and limited technical request data necessary to process and return the result may be shared with third-party infrastructure and AI providers used to provide the generation service.

Purchase and subscription-related information may be shared with Apple and RevenueCat to verify purchases, manage entitlements, restore purchases, and help prevent fraud. We do not share your uploaded photos with Apple or RevenueCat for subscription verification.

These providers may process data in countries outside the European Union, including the United States. Where applicable, data transfers rely on the safeguards made available by the relevant provider, such as contractual protections or participation in recognized transfer mechanisms. We share data only with service providers that are required to protect personal data with the same or an equivalent level of protection described in this Privacy Policy and required by applicable law.

5. Third-Party Services

Drip AI may use third-party services to provide certain functionality. These third parties process information according to their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing those policies.

Google Gemini: Used to generate AI-styled images from uploaded photos and generation inputs you provide. Google Gemini may process uploaded photos, selected generation options, and limited technical request data necessary to generate and return the requested result.
Supabase: Used for backend infrastructure and temporary processing of generation requests. Supabase may process uploaded photos, selected generation options, and limited technical request data as needed to securely route generation requests and return results.
Apple App Store: Processes purchases, subscriptions, and payment-related information.
RevenueCat: Helps verify subscription status, manage entitlements, restore purchases, and support fraud prevention. RevenueCat may process purchase and subscription-related information such as receipt data, entitlement status, app-scoped identifiers, and limited device or network information required for subscription management.
Google Shopping or other external links: May open when you use shopping-related features outside the App.
Open-source libraries: The App may include open-source components that run locally on your device.

6. Information We Do Not Collect

Except where you voluntarily provide it by contacting us directly, we do not collect:

Your name
Your mailing address
Your phone number
Your contact list
Your precise location
Advertising identifiers for ad tracking purposes
Your payment card details directly, as payments are handled by the app store

7. Device Permissions

The App may request access to device features only when needed to provide core functionality, including camera access, photo library access, and permission to save generated images to your device.

8. Security

We use secure HTTPS connections and rely on trusted infrastructure providers to help protect transmitted data. We also recommend that you protect your device with a passcode or biometric authentication and keep your operating system updated.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to upload and use any photo submitted through the App. You must not use the App to create deceptive or harmful deepfake content, to impersonate another person, or to violate privacy, publicity, or other legal rights.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal data processed about you.

Because Drip AI does not require an account and does not permanently store uploaded photos on our servers, many data management actions can be performed directly on your device by deleting saved images, clearing local app data, or uninstalling the App.

For purchase and subscription records, the app store provider and relevant service providers may control those records subject to their own policies. If you contact us directly, we will use your contact information only to respond to your request, unless we are legally required to retain it.

11. Children’s Privacy

Drip AI can be used by a broad audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Uploaded photos are used only to provide the image generation requested by the user, are not used for biometric identification or facial recognition, and are not used to train AI models. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can address it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the App or legal requirements. When we do, we will update the “Effective date” at the top of this page. If changes materially affect how we handle your data, we may notify you within the App or through other appropriate means.

Continued use of Drip AI after an update means you accept the revised policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the App.
